Justice For Saddam and Hope For Muslims

What could be more satisfying than Saddam Hussein in the dock. There is much cause for optimism in the war against terrorism- Iraq has taken another step toward representative government and Hussein another step toward accountability for crimes against humanity. Both give hope to Muslims around the world and both give great pause to islamists and despots.

Osama in the dock would be more satisfying. Also, any idea when the trial is going to commence. I haven't seen any estimates. Finally, how much more like Michael Moore could this guy sound?

Osama pickled in pork rinds would be the MOST satisfying thing. I read somewhere today- it was a long day and I don't remember exactly where- that the trial is expected to take two years. Hussein's attorney doesn't expect it to begin before our presidential elections in November. Taken with Hussein's anti-Bush comments, one might detect a pattern for the defense, an argument that killing Muslims is bad but intervention by infidels is worse.
